Winter

This picture shows the epitome of winter to a little girl and the one after shows the after effect; bundled up.  This winter, we didn't get hardly any snow, except for this day. A few days ago, she built a snowman, it included a cute baby carrot nose. She did it all by herself.
The picture at the bottom is a cute baby.

Christmas Memories

Another one of my favorite memories is spending time with Family.  Jason came over and then Jeron's family came up.  They also invited their dog, princess, in which both little girls loved her.

Merry Christmas

This year, we decided to go simple with the presents and only get them 3 presents per kid.  We like to relate this to what the Savior received: Myrrh (and embalming oil, something for the body), Frankincense (burned at the temple, a spiritual gift), Gold (Something of worth, or fun).  I got them shoes for the body, church toys for the spiritual gift and a toy for the fun gift.  This was such a wonderful experience for the kids and so much easier, than trying to buy tons of stuff that they don't always need.  I was worried at first that they would feel at a disadvantage that they didn't get as many gifts.  However, they also received a stocking and gifts from grandparents, cousins and Nae-Nae.  By learning about the Savior, they are blessed beyond gifts.

Twas the Night Before Christmas...

And the little ones don't have sugar plums dancing through their heads yet.  It will be a while before they settle down.  At least they got their cookies/treats to Santa before they got to bed.

Christmas Tree Pants?

I told Riley that the blanket under the Christmas Tree was a Christmas Tree Skirt.  She pulled her pants from the closet and asked if we could give it pants too.  Also, below, we decorated baby.

Happy Birthay Eli!

We had a wonderful birthday party for Eli!  He has always wanted one and I was so nervous to throw one in El Paso because they are a big deal in which they invite everyone and their family.  I thought once I got back to Utah, It would be easier.  In some ways, it was.  Beating the Jones was harder.  I didn't have my own place, just our tiny apartment and we didn't want to spend tons to go to an expensive venue.  We went with it anyway and had a great time.  We did all sorts of games, like treasure hunt with lego pieces, guess the legos in the jar, a pinata and Lego Bingo.  The kids enjoyed all of it and they even got a lego set when they left (dollar, generic ones from Amazon, but they loved it).  Most of all, Eli loved his party.

Morgan, Little Helper

Morgan is starting to get really active and "help" with chores, such as laundry and dishes.  I love that she is healthy, normal and active, even if it means that I don't get anything accomplished.
Update: This picture is about a month later, but still in the same topic.
