Halloween Time!

We did some photo shoots and apparantly Eli didn't want to be posed in his costume. When it came time to go trick or treating, he was a natural. He was the only kid within 2 hours of other trick or treaters and just so darn cute that the neigbors just let him keep grabbing candy from the tray. He enjoyed putting it in his bucket one at a time and wouldn't stop until Mommy told him that was enough. They would reply that's okay, he can take more. We only went to our street and by the time we were done, he had a full basket. I thought that I didn't want hime to have too much, so we stopped there instead of going on to other streets. When we left home, he was sad that when he saw our house come into view because that meant we were done.

The Hose!

Eli got stung by a bee and so I let him play in the hose so he could create mud. He also had fun drinking from the hose and spitting it out. AAAHHH! it was good.

Eli Likes to Share

He had some Red Vines and wanted to share with Baby Anna. She didn't seem to mind.

My Little Chess Player!

Grandpa created a lifesize chess board complete with lifesize (atleast to Eli) chess pieces. For family night, Jared and Grandpa played a game. They bearly got through one game until Eli took all the chess pieces off the board and moved them to the grass. They didn't dare start a second game.

Roses!

Grandma and Grandpa had the most beautiful roses in their garden. We took pictures of them and created collages. Click the design to see the pictures in more detail.

Playing on the Playground

I took Eli to the playground and all he wanted to play with was the woodchips. It wasn't until a few times later that he played on the slide and other things.

Happy Easter!

Eli's first Easter egg hunt happened today at Grandma and Grandpa Jansens' house with all the cousins and second cousins. Eli is hunting for eggs. Eventhough it looks like Eli knows what he is doing, he really didn't get it this year. However, he found two eggs and with help from his older cousin Breanna, he found all six. Running to get the egg, now that he has it, what does he do with it?

Little Fingers Like to Play

It seems as though everyone wanted to play the piano at Grandma Dana's house. We just had to admire the talent of these little fingers.

Love That Grandpa

Every Fall, Grandpa goes to trim the trees and this year, Eli went to help. Eli loves the outdoors and it is hard sometimes to get him inside. Good thing Grandpa has a good little helper.

Now that the weather is starting to warm up, Eli is having so much fun playing outside in the sandbox. If only the clean-up would be as simple the mess making.

Fun with Jansens

On New Years Eve, my father sent Jared an I on a wild goose chase around Davis County. While we were there, we stopped to visit Grandma and Grandpa Jansen. Kara and Patrick were there and Eli had a blast playing with them. They loved him and he loved them. As you can see, Eli is giving Patrick a hug.
Eli enjoyed feeding Patrick Crackers. Eli thought he was such a big kid sitting on a chair just his size.
Later, Russ stopped by to pick up his kids and brought his dogs. They loved him and he liked them, but was a little nervous. Below he his clinging to Patrick after a big kiss from the large Pit Bull.
After a few minutes, he started to feel more comfortable and decided to pet them with Kara's help.
