A New Dress

This dress is from Jared's old roomate from college, Mark.  I had a hard time standing her up and getting a good shot, but atleast you can see how cute she is.

Baby Susan is Not Real

In case there is any confusion, the baby on the left is Morgan and the baby on the right is baby Susan.  Susan was used to help Eli with potty training.  It is not uncommon for Morgan to spend time on the floor because I have three children and not enough hands.  There has been a time or two that Susan was on the floor and we carefully avoided stepping on her because we thought it was Morgan.

The Bumbo

Riley is sharing the Bumbo with Cinderella.  At least she is starting to enjoy a part of the baby.

Why?

Every time I put her in a new outfit, this happens.  My Mother-in-law gave me this outfit in two sizes.  She blew out the other one, this is the second one.  Oh well.  Good thing she is so cute. 

El Paso Zoo

Going to the El Paso Zoo was on my El Paso Bucket List.  I am glad that I was able to do it with my kids, a week before we moved from El Paso.  We were with the youth of El Paso for stake youth conference and they were on a scavenger hunt.  I had to take my kids and I was worried they would slow the youth down.  The youth were wonderful, either they didn't care about the hunt or they were compassionate enough to help with my kids.  After the youth left, I was able to play with just my kids at the new playground that they just built.  It had a few treehouses connecting to each other with a huge slide. Riley tried to go down the slide, but she got afraid.  I asked Eli to help, but she still wouldn't budge.  Finally she came down. 

A Cloudy Day in El Paso?

El Paso is such a sunny city, it is called Sun City.  I have enjoyed it, becuase it helps make things cheery.  The downside is that pictures of my kids don't always turn out in direct sunlight.  When there is a cloudy day, I want to take as many pictures that I can, even if they are goofy.

Adjusting to New Baby

Riley is practicing to be a big sister.  Having an new baby is always an adjustment, especially on the siblings.  Eli adjusted quite nicely.  His teacher noticed that he was distracted for a few days, but knowing his situation, she was quite patient.  Riley was constantly weepy, but Eli was sweet enough to be there for her by giving her attention when she needed it.  With proper encouragement when she did things that were good, like giving the baby her pacifier, she has been able to do well.
