Happy Easter!

Our Easter consisted of 3 Easter Egg hunts and dying eggs.  One was Grandma Jansen's house, one was at Grandma Koyle's and the last was a community Easter egg hunt that I won't be doing again because it was way too crowded.  I was, however very pleased with my children for sharing eggs with children who were late.  Either way, the kids enjoyed them all, including Morgan, with the funny face.

Update (Jan 15, 2016): This is the infamous weekend in which Whitney and Johathon got together. Courtney asked me if they were together, because they were flirting a lot, and I told her I don't think so. I figured just because two people are single, doesn't mean they will get together. They did get together.
Another weekend later that summer, they were there too and Riley asked when they were getting married. I was embarrassed and told her to be quiet. Whitney told me not to worry and then announced their engagement. They got married on January 2nd.

Zoo Trip with Grandma Koyle

Yeah!  Grandma Koyle has a zoo pass and shared it with all of us.  Carrie's Family joined us and we had a blast.  Riley somehow slipped away from all the adults there and rode the train all by herself.  I don't know how she did that, but eventually, we got her back.

















They had this new play place at the zoo. It was so nice to just sit and watch the kids play after seeing all the exibits at the zoo. It was also nice to allow Jared time to take Morgan back to the car for a crash.

Braclete for Grandma Jansen

Riley made this bracelete, especially for Great Grandma Jansen. She loves to make things for people she loves.  
Update: At the Jansen Christmas Party, I noticed that Grandma Jansen was wearing the braclete that Riely made for her. I commented that it was sweet of her to do that just for Riley. She told me that the last time Riley saw her, Riley gave her a scolding for not wearing the bracelet and she wasn't going to make the same mistake again.

Grandma Came to Visit!

Grandma decided that she missed the grandkids and needed to visit.  Also, Olympia is feeling every bit of her pregnancy and needs help and so Grandma came to the rescue.  Since my kids get up at the crack of dawn, she started the day with a spot of warm juice with the kids.

Painting Pictures

Riley loves to paint and she painted these for fun. Eli joined her and he painted the reindeer picture just for his teacher, Miss Levielle.

Silly and Messy Face!

Ok. I admit, I don't remember why this picture was taken, but it sure makes me laugh.  She is such a character.
I do see chocolate in her mouth.  She absolutely loves chocolate, especially Daddy's chocolate.  Daddy made the comment that he looks forward to the day when she tries other chocolate and doesn't like it.

Update: For Christmas this year, I filled the Advent Calendar with all sorts of candy. One of which was some cheap chocolate. Morgan loved it, but the other kids didn't. Daddy was pleased.

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

We had a tricky leprechaun come to our home last night and change our milk green, walk all over our walls and leave a treat under the rainbow.
Notice, Riley is wearing Eli's green shirt. He was concerned that Riley would get pinched during the night and so he convinced her to wear his shirt.
