First Snow of the Season!

This year, we were so excited to see snow, because while we were in Texas, for a year, we missed snow for the entire season.  The kids couldn't wait to go outside and play in it.  Baby, however, stayed inside.  She did, enjoy watching the kids play outside.  Love these little guys.

Riley Started School

After Eli went back on track and Grandma went back to Virginia, Riley was all alone and soooo bored.   We finally made the decision to enroll her in school.  We found one that still had openings.  It is only a couple days a week and yet, it is enough to entertain her for a while.  She was so excited, with the back pack and everything.  I wish we could have put her in Rainbow School in Texas, but until we find a place, this preschool will do just fine.  She still has another year of preschool, and then Kindergarten.

Mad-Happy Face

Riley has a "Mad-Happy Face."  The top half is mad and the bottom half is happy.  She also has a "Mad-Shocked Face."  It is funny asking her to make these faces.  She has to pause and go through all the different faces to get the right one she wants.

Happy Halloween 2014!

We love October!  As you can see, we have had a great month!  For Halloween, Eli is a pirate, Riley is a ghost princess and our dear little Morgan gets to be the pumpkin this year.  Happy Halloween from The Koyle Family.

Black Island Park

I went to Black Island Farms about 5 years ago and loved it. We went again this year and it was just as fun, only this time, I had 3 kids instead of just Eli. Last time we went with Carrie and her kids and just Joe, because Alex was just born. I wouldn't do it every year, as it is pretty expensive and it has gotten more commercialized. (Oh dear, now I sound like a Koyle)
For those who don't know about this place, it is great.  It has all sort of fun things, like a sandbox full of dry corn, hay bales to climb over, a really long slide, a train made from a tractor.  We also went on a corn maze.  The kids loved exploring, Courtney loved going through inch of it.

Gale Center Museum

Since Eli is off track in school, we need to keep him entertained.  We decided to go to the Gale Center Museum.  The kids had a great time, dressing up, pretending all sorts of things like fishing driving, weighing baby (Eli took that pic).  And of course, Riley wanted to see a potty.  She didn't quite grasp the concept of how it worked, but she did know what it was for.
