Sleeping Beaty

Yeah for our baby sleeping during General Conference! Maybe we will get to listen, if we don't fall asleep too!

Four Months Old

Eli is almost four months old. I've been back to work for two months now. It has been very difficult. My heart is not in my work like it used to be, it is at home.
G&G are on a trip to WA D.C. They missed Eli and so we told them that we would send Eli up there in the box, see below. They asked me to turn on the disposal while he was awake so he wouldn't hear it and wake up. I went upstairs to do so with Eli in my arms. It scared him and he started to cry.

Pluggy

Eli is so attached to his plug, even though he can't keep it in his mouth on his own because he sucks it so hard.  Someone has to hold it for him at all times.  This makes it difficult for him to sleep.  We always have to rock him to sleep with the pluggy, but then he looses it and wakes up.

Lil Punk

I look at these pictures and think, Wow, Eli looks like a little punk. Or maybe the one in the red looks like he is giving a cool boy nod.

Family Photo

We decided that since we had two new babies born that we needed to get Uncle Jeron a new family picture. Breanna is very excited to have two new nephews. In the picture below, she is singing "I am a Child of God" to Eli. Thanks to Grandma Sibyl for holding his head steady.

Tummy Sleeper

Eli won't sleep, no matter what.  Jared is wonderful to take him to sleep, but his wiggles are too much sometimes.  Fortuneately, we discovered that he sleeps long hours on his tummy.  We were so scared because our doctor strongly cautioned us not to put him on his tummy.  We even woke up in the middle of the night and checked on him.  Finally, Jared and I decided that we lived with him and we would put him on his tummy so we could finally get some sleep.
