Where Has Eli Been for the Last Few Months?

The reason we haven't blogged for the past few months is because pictures have ended up similar to this. He is simply done taking pictures for the moment.
SUPERMAN STORIES:
That doesn't mean he is any less enjoyable. Notice the TV Screen in the back. He was watching Superman. He is in a HUGE Superman phase and I have watched it over and over again.
For example, there was a screw loose on the screen door and he helped Grandma to tighten it. He then shouted "Superman-Eli saves the day!"
After putting him to bed one night, he wondered upstairs to the playroom. Grandma came to turn off the lights for the night and she asked him what he was doing. He was really tired and wrapped up in his blanket he responded "Superman saves the day." She told him that even Superman has to go to bed sometimes.

Eli loves to help work.

Photobucket Now that the weather is getting warmer, we can go outside more. I am trying to weed the garden and he is a good snail finder. He is also great at watering the plants. His technique has improved as he used to hold it a foot or two out and make lots of puddles. He now holds it on the nozzle and sprays all over. Photobucket Photobucket

Construction!

Photobucket Photobucket Photobucket Grandma and Grandpa are remodeling their kitchen and Eli is a big help. He is filling holes. He responded "Need more holes." After realizing how big a mess a little boy can get, we changed into one of Daddy's old shirts. It looks like a dress, but it is a lot easier to clean up.

I Leave Him Alone for Two Minutes!

I slept this morning because Eli was quietly busy in his room. I went to go check on him and found his beautiful mural all over his walls. Photobucket Photobucket We struggled with Magic Erasers for a while, but it didn't work. We may just have to repaint.

Stuck!

Eli stuck his body through the post, as displayed below, and couldn't get out. He cried for Grandpa to get him out. Photobucket Photobucket Just like a child he got right back in a number of times until Grandpa sat next to the stairs. We had a good time watching him struggle for a minute. Photobucket

Snow with Joe!

When we went to Grandma Danna's house for the weekend and Eli's cousin Joe was there too. These two boys had so much fun playing together in the snow and just being boys. The snow was nice and soft for us to pull them up and down a small hill in the backyard. Photobucket Photobucket Photobucket Photobucket Afterwords we came in for hot chocolate and they sure enjoyed it. Photobucket Photobucket Photobucket Photobucket All the rest of the weekend, they were into everything, from the toilet to the toybox to grandma's sewing room. The highlight of my weekend happend when they climbed in the closet and found some toys. Eli wanted the toy Joe had and told him, "Not a toy Joe" and took it from him. These littles ones are as much fun as they are work.

Halloween Time!

We did some photo shoots and apparantly Eli didn't want to be posed in his costume. Photobucket Photobucket Photobucket Photobucket When it came time to go trick or treating, he was a natural. He was the only kid within 2 hours of other trick or treaters and just so darn cute that the neigbors just let him keep grabbing candy from the tray. He enjoyed putting it in his bucket one at a time and wouldn't stop until Mommy told him that was enough. They would reply that's okay, he can take more. We only went to our street and by the time we were done, he had a full basket. I thought that I didn't want hime to have too much, so we stopped there instead of going on to other streets. When we left home, he was sad that when he saw our house come into view because that meant we were done. Photobucket
