Dirt for a One-Year Old.

Now that the weather is starting to warm up, Eli is having so much fun playing outside in the sandbox. If only the clean-up would be as simple the mess making. Photobucket Photobucket Photobucket Photobucket Photobucket

Happy Valentines' Day

We did a photo shoot and as you can see by the photos below, he was about as cooperative as a one-year old can be.

Fun with Jansens

PhotobucketPhotobucketOn New Years Eve, my father sent Jared an I on a wild goose chase around Davis County. While we were there, we stopped to visit Grandma and Grandpa Jansen. Kara and Patrick were there and Eli had a blast playing with them. They loved him and he loved them. As you can see, Eli is giving Patrick a hug. Photobucket Photobucket Photobucket
Eli enjoyed feeding Patrick Crackers. Eli thought he was such a big kid sitting on a chair just his size. Photobucket
Later, Russ stopped by to pick up his kids and brought his dogs. They loved him and he liked them, but was a little nervous. Below he his clinging to Patrick after a big kiss from the large Pit Bull. Photobucket Photobucket
After a few minutes, he started to feel more comfortable and decided to pet them with Kara's help. Photobucket

Fun with Cousins

We went to visit Grandma and Grandpa, but ended up visiting our cousins in Hyrum. Matthew's family showed up as well and they had a full house. We took a walk out the mail box in the red car and everyone took turns. Photobucket Photobucket Photobucket Photobucket

First Word

Eli is starting to mimic sounds he hears, like Grandma’s sneezing and certain words.  Eli has a blanket that has whimsical Noah’s arc animals on it and Daddy is always pointing to it and asking “What’s this?”  After awhile, Eli started to mimic the word “This.”  It sounds like “hiss.”  I guess you could say that is his first word.

He also mimic’s body sound’s like farting.  He sticks out his toungue and blows.  Afterwards he laughs and looks around for other’s to laugh also.  He is only 9 months and already he has a boy’s sense of humor.
